From time to time, the San Francisco Pride Celebration Committee teams with other, smaller Pride organizations to provide logistical support and mentoring to help these organizations as they grow. This is one more way in which San Francisco Pride continues to give back to the community by sharing our history and experience with Pride organizations both locally and internationally.
We are currently not accepting applications for the Twinning Program. If your Pride organization is interested in partnering with the San Francisco Pride Celebration Committee in summer 2014 or beyond, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oakland Pride 2012
Oakland Pride is one of the most diverse pride celebrations in the country, and the second largest pride event in Northern California. With attendance expected to be over 50,000, Oakland Pride featured four stages showcasing over 60 different performers, including Billboard chart topping dance diva Ce Ce Peniston on the Pride Stage, K-Paz de la Sierra on the Latin Stage, Rah Digga on the Women’s Stage, and hot new Bay Area Hip Hop group Clyde Carson featuring the Team on the Urban Soul Stage.
