Nancy L. McGinnis has been singing since she was nine years old. Later at about ten she began taking piano lessons. She was born in San Jose, California.  Considered a Pop-Alternative Artist by many, she writes all kinds of songs in many venues. She is a member of ASCAP and a voting member of the Recording Academy, who produce the Grammy Awards.  Nancy began writing music when she was about 19. Since then Nancy has written countless numbers of songs.  She now works in her home studio creating music, performing at a variety of venues, and being a studio musician for hire.
