Vinsantos has been an acclaimed performance artist in the San Francisco underground since the mid 90's. After winning the title of Miss Trannyshack in 2000, Vinsantos returned to his first love, music. In recent years, he has taken his unique stylings from the darkest SF dives to such prestigious venues as The De Young Museum, Yerba Buena CPA and the SF MOMA. This year Vinsantos comes to the Pride stage along with his band including SF Jazz denizens Kenny (girl) Annis and Randy O'dell. Their sound, ranging from the Ethereal to the Melodic all the way to Heavy Metal is best described as Glam-Cabaret. They will perform songs from Vinsantos' debut album "A Light Awake Inside", produced by post punk icon David J (Bauhaus/ Love and Rockets), and as always, surprises will be instore.
