Candy
DJ Candy grew up with seventies disco and eighties new wave and that influences everything that she does. “Without emulating the spirit, I want to bring the feeling of my early club experiences to my current events. I know what it's like to be lifted off your seat by a song and I aspire to play music that will move my audience. I am constantly on the look out for new music that rocks my face and I love introducing my audience to their new favorite jams.”
Six
Starting his DJ career as a resident at Shadowplay and Lucky Pierre at the Stud, Six met his long-time DJ partner, Candy, and the pair began throwing monthly parties at the Transfer (Bender) and the Cat Club (Apocalypso), focusing on bringing the newest indie electro to the dancefloor while showcasing the dance-punk and new wave near and dear to his heart.
You can shake it to Six’s current obsessions at Get Lucky! at the Lookout, CODE at Double Dutch and other roving Apocalypso Presents parties. (facebook.com/deejaysix)
Starr
Starr has been a Bay Area DJ for 12 years, starting with her roots in the goth and new wave scene. As time progressed, so did she and she found her love for all electronica music. She's ready to bring the house down with indie electro and bangin’ remixes with bad ass bass lines! This is her second return to SF Pride! You can catch her all around the bay. (facebook.com/starrsf)
Medic
In the 7 years he’s been djing, Medic has been seen behind the decks at 1015, the infamous Pink Saturday block party during Pride, DNA Lounge, as well as clubs around the country and even a few internationally. In his hometown of San Francisco, he runs DOPE (First Fridays @ Lookout) with his business partner Orme Dominique and has residencies spinning at Bearracuda (First Saturdays @ Club Eight), Cubcake (Second Fridays @ Lonestar), Sunday Scruffy Sunday (Second Sundays @ 440), this DJ keeps his music interests as varied as the parties he’s involved with. With as much love for electroclash, nu disco, and synth pop as for vocal house, fidget, electro, and guilty pleasure mainstream hits. Often seen jumping around, singing along to songs, and daring everyone on his dance floor to have nearly as much fun as he is.
Lifeline
DJ Lifeline is a San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento club based DJ. DJ Lifeline spins a wide variety of music ranging from: Indie, Electro, New Wave, Goth, Synthpop, EBM, and 80's. He is a Resident DJ and Co-Creator of CLUB DRAMA, an Indie Electro dance explosion, every last Thursday of the month at The Uptown Nightclub in Oakland. DJ Lifeline is also a Resident DJ for the roaming San Francisco Electro/Indie Party APOCALYPSO PRESENTS. He has also done guest DJ work for ELECTRIC FEEL which is every first Thursday of the month at The Lookout in San Francisco, and resident work at FASCINATION and DARKNESS.
Blondie K and subOctave
Fringe DJs Blondie K & subOctave spin music videos from the best of indie rock, electro pop, new wave and anything else that sounds interesting in the music underground. As local DJs in San Francisco, they throw two monthly indie music video dance parties: Electric Feel @ the Lookout every first Thursday and Fringe @ Madrone Art Bar every 3rd Saturday. They are best known for spinning their own video edits of the latest remixes causing a buzz on the dance floor.
