The SF Pride Women's Stage (formerly Nectarena) is the evolution and celebration of lesbian focused entertainment at the SF Pride festival. We are Women, Mothers, Sisters, Daughters Lovers, Friends and rulers of the world to put it lightly!!! Come and help us celebrate it! The entire women’s block will be transformed into a dynamic arena of fun, games, sexy performances all designed to entertain , build community and empower all who come out to join in the festivities. We are hard at work again this year to create a showcase of variety of talent that encompasses the female experience within the LGBTQ community.
This year the stage's entertainment will feature local talent from the Bay Area and beyond. From Rock to Pop, we have got you covered with some of the hottest female entertainers. We also have a few special surprises in store for you too. Drop by our location on McAllister St. (between Hyde & Leavenworth) on June 24, 2012 to see for yourself.

Dirty Little Billy
If you want to know where to find infectious music with catchy hooks and subtle influences from pop, hip hop, electronica, soul, and rock look no more. From L.A. via Dallas, Tx, pop artist, Dirty Little Billy is bringing it. She is Currently performing in L.A., and just release her second studio EP, Listen and Learn.
Maya Shavonne ft. “Nkechi” Live
Known for her soulful voice Maya “Shavonne” is a singer/songwriter new to the bay area, but not the stage. When she sings it is sure to send chills up your spine. Nkechi “Live” is also a singer/songwriter musician whose voice is a healing element in her inspirational and lyrical sound.
These ladies have joined forces and they are sure to make their presence known.
Ooh La La Bellydance
Directed by Shabnam from the Bay Area's renowned Shabnam Dance Studio, Ooh La La Bellydance has graced the stages from Palace of Fine Arts to Zellerbach Hall. Well known for their unique staging, cutting edge choreographies and artistic approach to Middle Eastern Dance, they strive to elevate the dance form. Afia Walking Tree & Spirit Drum
Afia Walking Tree & Friends delights us with soulfully rich danceable drum-songs augmented by strings, winds, keys, voice and dance; as well as s traditional Afrakan Diasporic and contemporary culture music for all ages. Joining Afia Walking Tree at Pride is Liz Boubion, Larissa Monfort, Kym Trippsmith, Regina Wells, and Nana Buruku Ma Ajuba, Ancient Drum Amazon Lineage Ancestor Oracle.
San Francisco Drag King Champions …100% Live Vocals! MOMMA’s BOYZ sole intention is to entertain you with “all the way live” performances.
Their style is that of the Old Skool Hip Hop from the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90's. They believe this music has the clean, pure funk that is Momma’s Boyz.
MCs Alex U. Inn and Ryder Moore, as well as their fabulous Dancers, Cody Rio and Prof. TRON, are very committed to giving their audiences a true feeling from the era of their songs. Even down to only sporting vintage Adidas.
Tasha Kame is A Dance Diva, Two British Mates, and Phat Phoot Soul King with no other Desire then to Rock N Roll. American Gritty Blues meets classic Brit Punk, and lots of musical flavors in between. Kaylah Marin, whose dance hit “Oh Baby Please,” held the number 3 spot on the billboard charts, leads this band with powerful soulful pipes.
Currently Tasha Kame is finishing a live album to be released by independent UK record Label Derailed Records by Thanksgiving. Look out for more from this band.
Lisa Marie Johnston (LMJ) is a singer/songwriter from Oakland California. She’s also a music major transferring to SFSU in the fall and works with underprivileged youth. Lisa Marie calls her genre “stomp and groove,” and says to imagine Sheryl Crow and Sublime jamming in a bar in New Orleans. There are some country influences as well as soul and rock.
Hailing from the heart of San Francisco, Sam “Oh Blimey” McDonald is a female rapper, singer and songwriter armed with an unmatched passion for artistry. At the age of twelve,” In 2011, she was the first female to ever battle at "Rock the Bells," one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the nation. Her go-getter mindset, dreamer's spirit, and West Coast flavor are all reflected in her edgy (dynamic) lyrics. She has satisfied crowds all over California with exceptional performances from her full length debut project "MVP Season." When she's not busy writing radio ready hip-hop bangers, winning the hearts of fans, or lyrically destroying an opponent in a rap battle, she enjoys playing acoustic guitar and writing folky love songs.
Dominika Bednarska is a performer, poet, writer, teacher, and academic. Her full-length solo show, My Body Love Story, recently kicked off the 2012 National Queer Arts Festival at the Garage Theater in San Francisco. Her first book of poems, Smothered Breath, will be out by the fall from Tulip Pulp Press.

DJ Jeanine Da Feen
Mixing at a spectrum of events and venues, Jeanine Da Feen has made her DJ sets something to remember in San Francisco, Palm Beach, New York, and Los Angeles. Her live events vary, such as DJing for the Nike Women's Marathon, San Francisco Pride, and the Golden State Warriors. Jeanine can be heard mixing on the radio every Saturday night on San Francisco's Wild 94.9. Playful and versatile behind the decks, Jeanine Da Feen's set are always full of flavor and energy.
DJ MOTIVE is a Bay Area native that has been going hard in the dj game for over a decade. She is notorious for getting parties hype with her distinct selection of the freshest dubplates that include an energetic blend of club bangers, booty clap slaps, electronic fire and classic anthems. With fingers steady on the fader, the dancefloor motivator will make that a$$ drop.

DJ Lady Ryan
Lady Ryan connects instantaneously to her audience. Her music rides the crowd's nostalgia effortlessly weaving old songs with the new. Due to her charm and immeasurable talent, she has easily become a Bay Area favorite, DJing and singing at major LGBT events like SF and Oakland Pride since ’07 and many clubs in both cities. Currently, she holds residence at the Lucky Lounge, Oasis, Disco Volante and the RockSteady in Oakland. In San Francisco, she holds residence at the El Rio, the Cafe and the Skylark. Lady Ryan is unique in that she is known for her eclectic taste in tunes and spellbinding voice. From Jazz to House, the flux of distinctive sounds she so graceful sets beside one another make for a brilliant movement within the crowd.

South San Francisco native, DJ Val G. has always had a passion for music that came from deep within. She is a lover of all types of music and gets a high like no other when she shares her music with others. She works in association with Tha Coalition DJs and can be seen rocking not only the biggest gay events but also the biggest straight events throughout California.
