To kick off Pride Season, we have partnered with none other than the Commonwealth Club to produce a series of panel discussions called Lavender Talks, taking place every other Thursday evening through Pride weekend. They’re free, but you need to register with the Commonwealth Club — which you may do up until one hour before the programming, when everyone will receive a link by email.
This Thursday, May 28, at 6 p.m., join panelists Bob Goldfarb (President, LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District), Julia Sabory (Cultural Districts Manager, San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development), Aria Sa’id, (Co-founder and Executive Director, Transgender District) and A. Sparks (Co-Chair, Castro LGBTQ Cultural District) as they discuss the state of S.F.’s LGBTQ Cultural Districts. Moderated by Board President Carolyn Wysinger, it’ll be a fantastic opportunity to see where each of the three neighborhood-specific organizations is in its development.Register here.
