DATE CORRECTION: Soul of Pride After-Party Youth Ball

In our previous newsletter, we incorrectly posted the date for the Soul of Pride After-Party Youth Ball.  The correct date of the event is Sunday, June 24. 

Check out the Soul of Pride African-American Village on Sunday, June 24 at the Pride Celebration on McAllister at Leavenworth, and then join the Soul of Pride Team in celebrating another fantastic Pride year!

Soul of Pride After-Party LGBT Youth Ball - ages 18+:

San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade Webcasts Live Around the World June 24

The San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration Committee is excited to announce that for the first time, the SF Pride Parade will be webcast live on June 24. KRON 4 starts its coverage at 10:30 a.m., PST, which will be shown live on Comcast Ch. 99 (digital) in the Bay Area. It will be webcast live at KRON4.COM and ShakeRadio.com, a Clear Channel station. A KRON 4 prime-time broadcast starts at 7p.m.

Toyota/SCION Benefit Raffle: Win an All-New 2008 SCION xB
San Francisco Toyota/SCION has donated an all-new 2008 SCION xB to help raise funds for local community non-profit organizations. 

You may contact the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, AIDS Emergency Fund, and Breast Cancer Emergency Fund for tickets.  Tickets are one for $5.00 or five for $20.00.  All proceeds will benefit these three organizations.  Terms and conditions apply: please see our flyer for more information.

Pride Art Space 2007
Be sure to check out the Pride Art Space at this weekend's Pride Celebration.  The theme of this year's Art Space is, "A Community of Communities," and showcases both local and international up-and-coming artists. 

Visitors to the Art Space will have a chance to experience an exciting collection of work in a variety of media showcasing the Bay Area's diverse communities and ways of seeing.

Featured Artists: Alfonso Aguirre, Karen Batten and (m)_elly nio, Christopher Boyd, Joie Rey Cohen, Papa Dino, Steve Gibson, Katie Gilmartin, Ana Knox, Linette Morales, and a special exhibit contributed by the GLBT Historical Society.

A special thanks to Kim Komenich and Robert Melton for their collaboration on this year's Art Space.

The Art Space will be open Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 in Civic Center Plaza across from the State Building along McAllister Street.  Questions can be emailed to art@sfpride.org.
