The grand stands are located at UN Plaza, which is on the north side of Market Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets in San Francisco. The Civic Center Muni and Bart Station will bring you right to the Grandstand entrance. Bicycle parking is located on Hastings plaza on the northeast corner of Hyde and McAllister.

Please do not drive: parking will be impossible and traffic unbearable.

The gates open and general seating begins at 9:30 AM on Sunday, June 29th. The Parade begins at 10:30 AM and kicks off at Market and Beale.

The west section of the Grandstands, towards Eighth Street, is reserved for those requiring ASL interpretation, and the first two rows of all sections are reserved for those with accessibility needs. There is a section reserved for wheelchair users, which is the entire front section of the grand stand area located in the street. Six ramps provide easy access for those using wheelchairs.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING in any section of the grand stands. We also ask you to be mindful of the fact that some people have environmental illnesses so please help us make the grand stands a scent-free area.

Please keep in mind that your space is subject to re-sale if you are not seated by 11:00 a.m.

There are no shaded areas in the grand stands. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring along a hat and sunscreen. Please do not block the view of those people behind you.

There will be a beverage and food area behind the Grand Stands.

ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE GRANDSTAND AREA.

Purchasing Grandstand Seating Tickets
 Grandstand tickets go on sale starting Thursday, May 1, 2008.

 Online ticket sales end June 19, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased in person prior to the event at the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus Box Office located at the LGBT Community Center at 1800 Market Street, 1st Floor. The box office is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday. It is advisable to call before dropping by at 415-865-2787.

Ticket sales at the Box Office will end on June 25, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the Grand Stands on June 29 for $35.00.

Tickets are $30 (plus a $1 processing fee). Accessibility tickets are available on a sliding scale and come with one partner ticket also available on a sliding scale .
