Medical Volunteers

The 2012 San Francisco Pride Celebration & Parade will take place Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24.

Each year, for one weekend in June, hundreds of thousands of participants occupy Market Street and the Civic Center to enjoy and participate in the largest outdoor civic event in California. The need for a safe and welcoming LGBT-positive space is as necessary as ever, and one of the ways to accomplish this is by volunteering with our successful Medical Volunteer Program!

How to Apply

If you are an EMT, Paramedic, MD, PA or RN become a Medical Volunteer by filling out a Medical Volunteer Application.

We are asking for a few volunteers on Saturday, June 23, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and are asking for most of the volunteers to join us on Sunday, June 24, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. You choose when and the amount of time you would like to volunteer. Volunteers cover the parade route, celebration area, and first aid station.
