As the first event of its kind, Building the Block is OFFICIALLY launching San Francisco Pride season! Get connected to local resources, local small business vendors, BIPOC-owned food trucks, and experience live entertainment from Bay Area LGBTQ+ creators.

The official start of Pride month! A tradition since 1988 when Mayor Art Agnos became the first SF Mayor to participate in the Gay and Lesbian Freedom Day Parade.

SFPride Season Kickoff

Annual Commemoration Ceremony for Patrick Carney's Pink Triangle of Twin Peaks with dignitaries and speakers to be announced. Saturday, June 8, 11am. Volunteers and donations needed.

The annual Press Preview to introduce San Francisco Community Pride Grand Marshals to the media. The Marshals will be interviewed by Manny Yekutiel who will field questions from the media. San Francisco Pride representatives will be on hand to provide information about the Parade and Celebration.

Join us for a day of nationally recognized speakers and panelists discussing the state of LGBTQ+ Human Rights around the world.

The Official San Francisco Pride After Party is the hottest party in town with DJs, dancers, and performers from our Main Stage! Attracting a diverse crowd of queer and trans people from across the Bay Area, it takes place on Pride Saturday night.

The Civic Center Celebration: Main stage produced by D'Arcy Drollinger and OASIS, Community Stages, Vendors, Food and Drink.

8am-11am Sign up for a Yoga or movement class, enjoy healthy breakfast, brunch cocktails and more.

Inside San Francisco's magnificent City Hall on Celebration Sunday featuring a hosted bar, delicious bites, and three rooms of non-stop entertainment.

Parade starts at 10:30am at Market and Beale streets. 50k participants, hundreds of contingents, fabulous floats, Resistance Contingent, Celebrity Grand Marshal Billy Porter and SF Pride Community Grand Marshals. Finishes at Civic Center.
